Ruth Bunnewell is a Norfolk born artist working in oils. She graduated from Norwich University College of Arts in 2004 and has remained close to Norwich ever since, often choosing local landscapes to paint. In particular Ruth likes to paint woods and forests both real and imagined, and sometimes a lone building hiding furtively in the background.
For Ruth it is the emotions triggered through a memory of a landscape as well as the shapes and colours which leads her to the canvas. As Ruth puts it, It is the atmosphere and feel of a place that intrigues me... Ruth has exhibited widely in solo and group shows within East Anglia and London.
