The Architecture of Trees - October 2022
In this exhibition of over 50 works we explored the architectural personality of the trees we live with in our landscape. We ask what it is in the natural design - form, colour, pattern that draws us to represent, protect or preserve a particular tree, grove, orchard, copse, clump, thicket.
Arborealists: Jemma Appleby, Buckmaster and French, Claire Cansick, Lara Cobden, Tim Craven, Alex Egan, Fiona McIntyre, Nahem Shoa.
Gallery East artists: Perienne Christian, Kate Giles, Jane Human, Caroline Poole.

Two Ways of Seeing - May 2022
These two artists, Rosemary Goodenough and Jules George ,capture a marvellous range of atmosphere – from veils of mist to the piercing shafts of last light. Their subjects need not be dramatic to call forth a profound response.

Abstract Meets Landscape - March 2022
An exhibition of over 40 works by Ruth Bunnewell, Neil Canning, Robert Erskine FRSS, Jane Lewis RWS, David Mankin, Malca Schotten illustrating the creative journey the artist makes moving from the natural landscape to making marks on a surface resulting in a work of art. Abstract art, a major art stream in modern art since the 1900’s, has always invited us the viewer to make out for ourselves the patterns, forms, colours and meaning. Few abstract artists want to impose their ideas on the viewer; rather it is for us to make up our own minds.

Forgotten Places 10 October 2020
This was a two person show featuring 2 leading contemporary British artists Tim Goffe and Mari French. Tim captures scenes of contemporary urban living spaces, with just fleeting glances of people, and industrial landscapes often ignored by the passing eye. Mari's work was from her Dungeness series in which the industrial landscape of the power station and neglected fishermen's huts peak through the barren, yet full atmospheric coastline.

People and Places 7 August 2020
The exhibition featured 4 very different UK artists and ceramic artists for whom a sense of "place" defines the narrative of their work. In some cases the work is about a local landscape, sometimes about people and their relationship to a far away landscape, and sometimes about putting local faces into a current landscape.
